  • Battery electric high-performance two-seater sportscar concept for a carbon neutral era
  • Powerful low, wide stance and sleek silhouette with distinctive lines inspired by advanced aerodynamics
  • Handling, cornering and braking enhanced by lighter, smaller components
  • Next-generation batteries, with compact dimensions and a high energy density
  • Personal ride customisation reflects a driver’s lifestyle and individual values
  • Toyota showcases an exciting potential future for high-performance sports cars with the zero emissions FT-Se battery electric two-seater concept vehicle.

Incorporating the expertise gained from TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s efforts to make ever-better cars through motorsport participation, the FT-Se concept presents a vision of how a driver’s relationship with their vehicles will evolve and deepen.

With its name drawn from ‘Future Toyota Sports electric’, the FT-Se is a concept for high performance in the carbon neutral era. It incorporates a stunningly sleek, smooth silhouette characteristic of a pure two-seater sports car, encasing next generation battery electric technology.

At a compact 1,220 mm tall, it recalls memories of classic sports cars from the past while its 1,895 mm width generates a purposeful stance, accentuated by a cutting edge front design which combines smooth curves and aggressive lines. A 4,380 mm long and sleek silhouette catches the eye thanks to its aerodynamic lines, distinctive trapezoid shapes and evocative rear spoiler.

Inside, the next-generation cockpit offers intuitive controls and a more immersive driving experience, with a low instrument panel profile ensuring high visibility. Newly designed kneepads protect the driver and passenger from G-forces during driving, whether on the road or in the FT-Se’s natural habitat, the race track.

Progress in the fields of electrification and intelligent technology have allowed Toyota to build on the direction already indicated in 2021 when the first sports concept was unveiled as part of the company’s vision for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Enhanced handling stability and aerodynamic performance complement the response and pure thrills of a high-performance, next generation electric powertrain.

The latest batteries, with a low height and high energy density, are an important factor in enabling the FT-Se to push the boundaries of performance. That technology, combined with the downsizing and weight reduction of components such as the motor, transmission and air conditioning unit, allow new possibilities to enhance traditional sports car qualities such as stable cornering, responsive handling and confident braking.

The FT-Se is intended to continually grow through ongoing software updates and beyond, whilst reflecting the driver’s lifestyle and individual values through customisation and convenient functions for stress-free operation. Toyota believes that future mobility will go beyond providing physical transportation tools to becoming a lifestyle partner. The FT-Se concept is a vision of how a battery electric sportscar could become a one-of-a-kind vehicle to get a driver’s pulse racing and foster a long-term bond.

Toyota first displayed the FT-Se at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo on 26 October-5 November, alongside the FT-3e, a next-generation battery electric SUV-type concept. Both vehicles represent a future transformed by electrification and intelligence, which goes beyond providing physical transportation tool and explores new experience values offered by cars.

The Electrifying Fusion: MINI Cooper SE Gets a Sporty Makeover in JCW Trim https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/mini-cooper-se-gets-a-sporty-makeover-in-jcw-trim/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/mini-cooper-se-gets-a-sporty-makeover-in-jcw-trim/#respond Wed, 06 Dec 2023 09:00:41 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=90834
  • All-electric MINI Cooper SE in John Cooper Works Trim offers 218 hp, 402 km range, and 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, combining iconic design with sustainable mobility.
  • Sporting racing-inspired aesthetics, the model boasts unique exterior elements, JCW signature lighting, race-themed interior, OLED display customization, and innovative driver assistance features like Parking Assistant Plus and EXPLORE Mode for remote parking.
  • The all-electric MINI Cooper SE stands for emission-free mobility and urban driving pleasure. The new 3-door model is also available in the John Cooper Works Trim, which emphasises the brand’s racing history.

With 218 electrically generated hp (160 kW) and 330 Newton metres of maximum torque, the MINI Cooper SE (electricity consumption combined: 14.7 – 14.1 kWh/100 km according to WLTP; CO2 emissions combined: 0 g/km) is way out in front with zero emissions, especially with its ability to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The high-voltage battery installed in the MINI Cooper SE with an energy content of 54.2 kWh enables a range of up to 402 kilometres as determined in the WLTP test cycle. To give your MINI a particularly sporty look it can be ordered in John Cooper Works Trim. With many details the equipment variant emphasises the brand’s motorsport genes – achieved through numerous racing successes, including three victories at the Monte Carlo Rally in the 1960s.

“The all-electric MINI Cooper SE in the new John Cooper Works Trim combines a passion for iconic design, legendary performance and sustainable mobility. It is the epitome of efficiency and driving pleasure”, says Stefanie Wurst, Head of the MINI brand.

Individual front and rear design with a motorsport look.

The new John Cooper Works logo, which is characterised by clear outlines, stands out particularly well with its traditional red, white and black colour scheme and the symbolised chequered flag on the octagonal front grille. The powerful appearance of the MINI Cooper SE in JCW Trim is achieved, among other things, by 18-inch wheels in Lap Spoke 2-tone design with ten spokes each and JCW brake callipers in eye-catching red. Bonnet stripes on the body emphasise the sporty character.

As standard the MINI Cooper SE in JCW Trim includes striking diffusers at the front and rear. The radiator grille surround and logo are finished in high-gloss black. Visual highlights include the contrasting roof and the mirror caps in Chilli Red.

The MINI LED headlights have individual light signatures. With the selected JCW signature, the front lights only show two horizontal stripes as daytime running lights and emphasise the minimalist design of the new MINI Cooper SE. The graphics of the matrix rear lights underline the width of the rear of the vehicle.

    Racing-inspired interior.

The JCW seats combine synthetic leather with red stitching and multi-coloured knitted material in the shoulder section. The black and red colour concept is continued on the 2d-knit covering the interior of the door and the dashboard – the passenger side of which is adorned with the JCW-specific pattern in style of a chequered flag.

The central, high-resolution OLED display with a diameter of 240 mm bundles vehicle-related data and provides information on navigation, media, telephone and climate settings. With the MINI Experience Modes, it offers new possibilities for individualisation. These include the John Cooper Works-inspired GO-KART Mode, which colours the display and interior lighting anthracite red. In addition to the special GO-KART sound, the optimised throttle response of the accelerator pedal in this mode enhances the sporty driving experience.

New driver assistance systems and efficient charging.

With 12 ultrasonic sensors and four surround cameras, Parking Assistant Plus simplifies parking and identifies free parking spaces. The advanced EXPLORE Mode offers a unique solution for this vehicle segment: it allows parking via smartphone without the driver having to sit in the MINI.  A significant plus in convenience when parking space is tight at the side.

Fast charging with direct current is possible with up to 95 kW. This means that the battery can be charged from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just under 30 minutes at a quick-charging station. The high-voltage battery is charged with 11 kW using alternating current. When navigation is activated, the high-voltage battery of the MINI Cooper SE is prepared to the ideal temperature for efficient charging depending on the weather conditions. The advantage: a significantly shorter charging time, especially at low outside temperatures.

    Introducing The Next-Gen KTM 1390 Super Duke R https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/introducing-ktm-1390-super-duke-r/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/introducing-ktm-1390-super-duke-r/#respond Fri, 01 Dec 2023 12:04:22 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=90718
  • 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R and Super Duke R Evo: Powerhouses with 1,350 cc, aggressive redesigns, advanced LED tech, and enhanced ergonomics for a heightened riding experience.
  • Cutting-edge features: Upgraded engine, smarter lighting, innovative suspension options, performance modes, and a nod to heritage with special edition colorways, all accompanied by a range of customizable accessories and gear.
  • The 2024 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO have erupted into the Naked segment without warning, sending a clear message to the competition; There is a new BEAST on the prowl.

With 2024 marking 30 YEARS OF DUKE, the all-new KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and its high-tech stablemate, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO, have evolved into their most fearsome iterations yet.

The numbers tell the story with 1,350 cc, 190 Hp @ 10,000 rpm, and 145 Nm of torque @ 8,000 rpm, ripping into the tarmac with pure ferocity – with a new, more aggressive look to match. Impressive figures aside, however, it is its effectiveness at getting power to the ground that makes it even more potent.

For 2024, THE BEAST has undergone a striking aposematic evolution, sending a clear warning message to anyone brave enough to take it on. An all-new LED headlight unit dominates, with new tank spoilers and added winglets making it known that it is not to be messed with. A further reduced subframe cover eliminates the brake light making for an even sharper, pure look and riding experience. With a lower overall profile and more emphasis placed on the compact chassis, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R looks more muscular and aggressive than ever before. In short, KTM upped the attitude, by lowering the altitude.

A redesigned air intake and airbox see a revised fuel tank with an overall tank capacity of 17.5 liters, which is an increase of 1.5 liters over the predecessor. This not only takes the riding range up to around 300 km but also performs an important ergonomic function. In the hunt for grams, every panel has been calculated for optimum thickness and minimized where possible, with new tank spoilers and added winglets increasing downforce.

However, it is the lightweight, and ‘smart’ headlight design that makes the biggest visual impact. Weighing in at nearly 700 g less than the previous unit, and boasting an alien-like design, it adds an all-new aggressive glare to the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R. Position and daytime running lights are located on the profile of the headlight, which auto-adjusts in intensity according to ambient light conditions thanks to a light sensor integrated into the dashboard.

Additionally, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO are fitted with Coming Home light functionality as standard. Here, the headlight will remain on after the ignition has been switched off for greater ambient visibility. This not only illuminates the surroundings but provides a level of safety when parking in dark areas.

This ferocious BEAST required an enlarge heart to keep up with its muscular stance. Boasting an updated version of the LC8, further marking its territory as the alpha. The bore is increased to 110 mm to achieve an engine displacement of 1,350 cc, with an all-new cam shift integrated on the cylinder heads. This provides more power and torque throughout the rpm range and allows for a more differentiated fuel mapping to meet the latest EURO 5+ emission regulations.

Getting that power to the ground comes courtesy of new, lightweight MICHELIN Power GP tires with dual-compound technology, as well as a new WP APEX shock absorber which is fully adjustable, allowing for separate high and low speed adjustments, rebound and toolless pre-load adjustment. Improved DCC settings provide better pressure balance resulting in less compromise between suspension comfort and performance, while new 48 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge fork with split function provide optimized settings.

On the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO, however, the suspension management is taken to an all-new level with the latest generation of WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT). As the most advanced suspension system on the market, it features electronically controlled magnetic valves for variable damping, providing a wide range of adjustability – from maximum comfort to track-ready stiffness.

Here, the SCU (Suspension Control Unit) adapts the damping rates via the magnetic valves in real-time, reading the road surface and rider style to automatically adjust the suspension on the fly.

The technology feast doesn’t end there, with both the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO debuting updated PERFORMANCE and TRACK MODES, complete with lap timer and telemetry stats, as well as optional ENGINE BRAKE CONTROL and an updated SUSPENSION PRO module for the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO.

The KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO will also be offered in select 30 YEARS OF DUKE colorways, reminiscent of the orange scheme found on the 2005 KTM 990 SUPER DUKE.

A full range of specially developed KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear are available for riders to personalize their motorcycles and get themselves kitted up in READY TO RACEPerformance.

KTM will also be giving away a brand new KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R later towards the end of the year. Entrants are encouraged to visit KTM.com to sign up for the KTM newsletter, to be entered into the lucky draw.

Innovative Shelving Solutions and Workshop Mats for Modern Garages https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/innovative-shelving-solutions-and-workshop-mats-for-modern-garages/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/innovative-shelving-solutions-and-workshop-mats-for-modern-garages/#respond Mon, 27 Nov 2023 11:13:12 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=90435 In the contemporary world of home design and utility spaces, innovation plays a pivotal role. Modern garages, often seen as mere storage areas or car shelters, are evolving into multifunctional spaces. Among the key elements driving this transformation are garage shelving and flooring, which combine functionality with modern design aesthetics.

    The Revolution in Garage Shelving

Garage shelving has come a long way from the basic, utilitarian units of the past. Today’s shelving solutions are not only about storage but also about maximising space efficiency, enhancing accessibility, and contributing to the overall aesthetic of the garage.

    Customisation and Flexibility

Modern garage shelving offers unprecedented customisation and flexibility. Adjustable shelving units that can be modified to fit various item sizes and shapes are becoming increasingly popular. This adaptability allows homeowners to tailor their garage storage to suit changing needs, from storing large tools and equipment to organising smaller household items.

    Innovative Materials and Designs

Innovation in materials and design is another hallmark of contemporary garage shelving. Sturdy, high-quality materials like heavy-duty steel and aluminium are being used to ensure durability and load-bearing capacity. Moreover, sleek designs and finishes are available to complement the interior design of modern homes, making these shelving units not just functional but also visually appealing.

    Smart Shelving Solutions

The integration of technology into garage shelving is a growing trend. Features such as built-in lighting, electronic inventory systems, and even automated retrieval systems are being incorporated, making these shelving solutions more efficient and user-friendly than ever before.

The Essential Role of Workshop Mats

While shelving takes care of storage, workshop mats play a crucial role in ensuring comfort and safety in the garage workspace. These mats have evolved beyond basic floor coverings into sophisticated components that enhance the functionality of the garage.

    Ergonomic Benefits

One of the primary benefits of modern workshop mats is ergonomics. Quality mats provide cushioning and support, reducing fatigue and strain during long periods of standing or working on projects. This is particularly important for those who use their garages as workshops or hobby areas.

    Safety and Durability

Safety is another key aspect of contemporary workshop mats. Materials used in these mats are often designed to be slip-resistant and can withstand exposure to chemicals, oils, and other substances commonly found in garages. This makes them an essential feature for preventing accidents and ensuring a safe working environment.

    Aesthetic and Functional Integration

Workshop mats now come in various textures, colours, and designs, allowing them to seamlessly integrate into the aesthetic of the modern garage. This integration ensures that these functional items contribute positively to the overall look and feel of the space.

Maximising Garage Potential with Shelving and Mats

The combination of innovative garage shelving and workshop mats transforms the garage from a mere storage space into a highly functional and comfortable area. Whether for car maintenance, DIY projects, or as a hobby space, these elements enhance the usability and enjoyment of the garage.

    Space Optimisation

Together, shelving and mats optimise the available space. Shelving systems maximise storage vertically, freeing up floor space, which is then made more usable and comfortable with the right choice of workshop mats.

    Enhancing Home Value

A well-organised and equipped garage can also add value to a property. Potential buyers often view a functional and aesthetically pleasing garage as a significant plus, making the investment in quality shelving and mats financially beneficial in the long run.

In the quest to create more functional and modern home spaces, garage shelving and workshop mats stand out as essential components. Their evolution from basic utility items to sophisticated, multi-functional elements is a testament to the changing role of the garage in contemporary homes. By embracing these innovative solutions, homeowners can maximise the efficiency, safety, and comfort of their garage spaces, making them a valuable asset to their homes.

    Unveiling the 2024 Panamera: Elevated Digital Sophistication and Luxury https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/unveiling-the-2024-panamera/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/unveiling-the-2024-panamera/#respond Mon, 27 Nov 2023 07:34:00 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=89695
  • Optional Porsche Active Ride suspension for greater spread between comfort and driving dynamics
  • Improved E-Performance – more power, greater range
  • New exterior design with more pronounced emphasis of width
  • Porsche Driver Experience: New operating concept and digital cockpit
  • Enhanced offering of innovative driver assistance systems
  • Porsche is presenting the new Panamera: the third generation of the sporty luxury sedan is characterized by an even broader digital offering, fresh and expressive design, and a greater bandwidth between comfort and sportiness. The E-Hybrid powertrains delivering greater performance and a new high-end suspension cement the Panamera as the sports car of its segment.

The third generation of the Porsche Panamera is here. The luxury sedan of the sports car maker underscores its’ sporty character with even more powerful engines and broadens its capabilities with a completely new interior layout and a number of innovative technologies. The new active suspension – Porsche Active Ride – and an efficient and powerful powertrain portfolio pair a high degree of comfort with performance characteristic of a true Porsche. The integration of the owner’s digital ecosystem enables completely new opportunities to interact with and use the vehicle. The elegant and dynamic design of the new Panamera stands out with attractive proportions. Meanwhile, a larger offering of driver assistance systems as well as a newly designed interior with a focus on the driver heighten the driving experience further.

Compelling blend of comfort and handling with state-of-the-art suspension

The new Panamera is equipped as standard with a two-chamber, two-valve air suspension which also includes Porsche Active Suspension Management. The two-valve technology separates the control of compression and rebound of the damper from each other and therefore offers greater bandwidth between comfort and sportiness. The Panamera aims to absorb bumps and road imperfections smoothly and offers significantly enhanced damping performance to improve body control during spirited driving. Optional rear-axle steering can improve the handling of the car even further by simulating longer or shorter wheelbase based on if the rear wheels are turned together or counter to the front wheels.

Additionally, the new Porsche Active Ride is available as an option for the Panamera E-Hybrid models. This system offers a wider spread between comfort and driving dynamics than ever before. The technical basis for this are new active shock absorbers, which are connected to an electrically operated hydraulic pump. The pump generates a use case-specific volume in the dampers that can then quickly and very precisely build up pressure between the wheels and body of the car to counter and absorb any impacts generated by road imperfections. A weight-saving one-chamber air suspension complements this technology.

The optional active suspension keeps the body of the Panamera flat, even during heavy braking, steering and acceleration inputs. It distributes the wheel loads dynamically to optimize grip and absorbs road imperfections to a very high degree. As a result, the connection to the road is always kept at an optimum level, even during spirited driving.

When the respective feature in the PCM is selected, Porsche Active Ride can overcompensate pitch and roll movements: The new Panamera then leans into corners like a motorcycle, leans forward under acceleration and tilts back under braking. Porsche Active Ride can raise the ride height of the vehicle to ease entry and exit of the vehicle while parked.

More E-Performance and extensively updated engines

Porsche plans to offer four different E-Hybrid powertrains, responding to healthy demand for this type of powertrain in the Panamera. All E-Hybrid variants profit from more capable hybrid technology that offers more power, greater range and improved efficiency. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is the first model to be introduced and will come equipped with a completely revamped 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor generating 140 kW (187 hp) which is powered by a 25.9 kWh battery. The system power of the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is an impressive 670 hp and 685 lb.-ft. of torque. The electric motor is integrated into the housing of the heavily updated 8-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Without the need for separate housing, around five kilograms of weight were saved. The integration of the unit into the oil circulation system also optimizes the thermal efficiency of the electric powertrain and allows for a higher consistent output, improved efficiency as well as increased recuperation power for the E-motor. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and on to a top track speed of 195 mph.

At launch, Panamera and Panamera 4 models will also be available. Their 2.9 liter V6 turbo engine features optimized boost pressure, injection volume and ignition timing. As a result, it now develops 348 hp and 368 lb.-ft. of torque – an increase of 23 hp and 37 lb.-ft. compared to the previous model. This increase in power helps the Panamera to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds and improves the top track speed to 169 mph. The all-wheel drive variant Panamera 4 achieves 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top track speed of 168 mph.

Interior and exterior: Luxurious and sporty

The exterior design of the new Panamera is based on the strong lines and proportions that have always characterized the model line. The new Panamera measures 198.9 inches in length, is 76.3 inches wide and 56 inches high. The significantly refreshed appearance of the performance sedan is even more expressive and sporty as a result. An additional air inlet above the area designated for the front license plate accommodates the new powertrains’ increased need for air. The newly designed window lines underscore the sedan character of the new Panamera, while the edges of the rear window sit flush with the body and contribute to a harmonious design.

The Porsche Driver Experience interior concept is defined by an ideal balance between analog and digital operating controls as well as an orientation of the essential touch points and features towards the driver. True to this principle, the gear selector is positioned to the right of the steering wheel. The mode switch, which includes the drive programs Normal, Sport and Sport+, and the stalk for the driver assistance system, are directly within reach of the driver.

An optional passenger display with a 10.9-inch screen can show performance data of the vehicle, and allows for the operation of the infotainment system and even video streaming while driving. To rule out any distractions, the passenger display is not visible from the driver’s seat.

Stronger differentiation for Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid

Turbo models enjoy a special status at Porsche as they represent the pinnacle of each model line. To underscore this role, Porsche is separating the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid distinctly from other models in the range. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid is distinguished by a bespoke lower rear fascia with diffuser elements painted in body color and dark bronze tail pipes, as well as a Turbo-specific front fascia and optional center lock wheels.

Turbonite is used as a contrasting color for the side air blades of the air intakes, the window surrounds and the “turbo” model designation on the rear trunk lid. The centerpiece of the unique Turbo trim is the Porsche crest in Turbonite which is fitted to the hood, the center of the wheels and the steering wheel. Inside, Turbonite combined with carbon fiber trim pieces create a particularly sporty ambiance. Turbonite can be found in the central tachometer of the digital instrument panel or the color of the operating elements in the center console.

Digital experience and new assistance systems

The new Panamera is designed to act as an integral part of the driver’s digital ecosystem. To sign in to the system using a personalized Porsche ID simply requires scanning a QR code shown in the PCM with a smartphone. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto enable the syncing of smartphone and vehicle data for better operation. The integration of vehicle functions offered in the MyPorsche App in Apple CarPlay® allows for an optimized use and access to digital functions. Functions such as climate control, seat massage and ambient lighting can be activated directly via Apple CarPlay® or Siri®.

As standard, Porsche fits the Panamera with LED Matrix Design headlights. Additionally, the capabilities of the optional driver assistance systems available for the new Panamera have been significantly enhanced. For example, the standard active speed assistant features a new limiter function that operates in conjunction with traffic sign recognition. When the system is active, the Panamera is designed to follow the posted current speed limit. Porsche InnoDrive, including adaptive cruise control, has been enhanced with a new lane keep assist and a crossroad assistant. An evasive maneuver assistant, designed to support sudden lane changes to avoid hitting an obstacle, is a new function of Porsche InnoDrive as well. Another new optional feature: During an automated parking procedure, the driver – who is still responsible for the vehicle – does not have to be sitting in the car anymore, but can do this from their smartphone using Remote ParkAssist, which can be used for certain types of parking spaces and garages.

    Pricing and availability

The new Porsche Panamera is now available for order. The third generation offers an expanded level of standard equipment including a two-valve, two-chamber air suspension, LED Matrix Design headlights, drive mode switch on the steering wheel, a cooled smartphone compartment with inductive charging and an improved air particulate filter with GPS-based automatic recirculation. The 2024 Porsche Panamera starts at $99,900, not including a $1,650 delivery processing and handling fee, while the Panamera 4 begins at $106,900. Both models are expected to reach U.S. Porsche Centers in Spring 2024. Specifics on the U.S. pricing and arrival timing of the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid will be announced at a later date.

Porsche will continue to produce the new Panamera in its factory in Leipzig. The production location in Saxony, Germany is closely connected to the Panamera. From 2009 to 2016, the first generation of the Panamera rolled off the assembly line here. When the second generation of the Panamera was unveiled in 2016, Leipzig took over the complete production of the sports sedan. The factory has been preparing for the production of the new third generation Panamera for the past several months.

This allows the driver to take his hands off the steering wheel at speeds of up to 60 km/h, as long as he continues to closely monitor traffic and is ready to intervene at any time. When changing lanes, the assistant system helps by identifying the gaps in traffic that are necessary on the way to the exit. This then brings the vehicle to optimal speed and automatically initiates the lane change.

More MINI aesthetics with a reduced design language.

Regardless of the terrain — a MINI Countryman is and has always been recognizable as a MINI at first glance. The new design impresses with its particularly clear aesthetics. From the front, the vehicle looks tidy and is characterized by the tense shape of the bonnet and the new octagonal front grille. MINI LED headlamps accentuate the uniqueness of the reduced design through individual signature modes. The short overhangs and the slim outline are just as typical MINI as the stretched contrasting roof.

The wide and upright stand of the new MINI Countryman underlines its presence and solid off-road character. Vertical rear lights frame the vehicle silhouette and make the new MINI crossover model look particularly upright and sporty.

The vehicle design, reduced to the essentials, can be presented in various ways using four trims — Essential, Classic, Favoured, John Cooper Works — for the exterior and interior. For example, the Favoured Trim accentuates the individual character of the MINI Countryman S ALL4 with particularly expressive details. Combined with the elegant Melting Silver bodycolor and 21-inch 950 Rally Spoke rims (available as an accessory), the adventurer looks robust and high-quality. For the new MINI Countryman, alloy wheels are available in various designs and sizes ranging from 17 to 21 inches.

Breaking new ground with innovative materials.

In the interior of the new MINI Countryman S ALL4, clear shapes underline the new design language. The dashboard with two-tone textile creates a new and particularly homely feeling of space. The panoramic glass roof brings more light into the interior, and high-quality comfort seats provide a secure and comfortable grip.

High-quality materials, innovative technology and individually adjustable lighting create an immersive driving experience. One of the highlights of the new MINI Countryman are the MINI Experience Modes. Each mode has its own design and ambient lighting. With a single command, the look and atmosphere of the cockpit is completely changed. The various modes emphasize different aspects of the diverse adventurer. The new MINI Driving Sounds create a unique atmosphere that supports personal driving settings particularly emotionally with specially composed sounds.

In the cockpit of the MINI Countryman, the focus is on the high-resolution, round OLED display. With 240 mm diameter and a high-quality glass surface, the instrument cluster sets a new standard. For convenient operation of  the infotainment and assistance systems, the MINI Interaction Unit moved closer to the  driver and passenger. With the new MINI Operating System 9, all vehicle      functions can be operated intuitively via touch or voice assistants.
